Best way to travel from Naples To amalfi coast

The most popular question when someone choose the Amalfi coast like holiday destination are:

What is the nearest airport to the Amalfi coast?
The Naples airport would be the closest international airport. About a 1 hour and half  from Naples to Sorrento,Positano,Praiano,Amalfi,Maiori. (the start of the Amalfi Coast).
Rome airport (FCO) would be the next closest international airport - it can take about 4 hours to get to Sorrento,Positano,Praiano,Amalfi,Maiori.

The second question is, how to get from naples to amalfi coast ?  ( such us Sorrento, Positano, Praiano, Amalfi)

Well, there are more ways to reach the Paradise :D

SITA bus: Although this kind of public transportation is true that  is  cheap, but some times is subject a strikes or could be full. So that, it might be important to be aware of any transportation limitations that might affect your trip. Furthermore is necessary to make some change if you are travelling from Naples airport becouse there is not a direct bus.

Train from Naples to the Amalfi coast:
There are 2 train stations, one in Naples and second one in Salerno.
From Naples Train station it will be possible to take a shared transfers such as easypickup.it where you will reach directly the Amalfi coast.
To get to Salerno city from Naples, there are high-speed train options. Like Trenitalia or Italo.

Hydrofoil or Ferries :
There are no direct ferry connections from Naples to any Amalfi Coast destination. 

However , one once you will in amalfi coast, you will free to take one to go around the coast to avoid the SS163, the only serpentine, two lane road that connects the towns of the Amalfi Coast.

Ferry options are very limited from mid-September until late April/Early May. In the summer season there is regular ferry service around the Bay of Naples, between all of the Amalfi Coast towns and connections to Naples and Salerno.

Alilauro is the most user friendly ferry service. They have a decent website where you can book tickets online, a Facebook page, they even have an app!

From Naples Beverello there is service to Sorrento where you can catch another ferry onward to Positano or Amalfi.

NLG operates from Beverello to Capri with connections from Capri to Positano and Amalfi. The website is in English and you can book tickets online.

Gescab operates from Beverello to Capri and Sorrento.
